Blurry
We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! 1 Corinthians 13:12 MSG
We are complicated people attempting to live out a very simple message. God’s truth is that we are all broken, we all need healing, and we can’t heal ourselves. God sent His Son to live among us so that we could find grace, mercy, healing, and live in eternal relationship with Him. As simple as that message is, we as humans have very deep-seated issues that can take years to resolve.

We don’t even realize we have many of our issues until we resolve the more pressing ones. God always waits to reveal those things that reside in deeper levels until we are ready for them. The deeper we go with God, the wider we can go with His purpose for our lives. We have to go deep before we can go wide.

As we go deeper into resolution and healing, we start to see more clearly what’s in front of us. God always shines a light on our feet. What’s ahead of us may seem blurry but the further we go with Christ, the clearer everything becomes. Everything may seem blurry and difficult to see now, but as we move forward in recovery we will begin to see things with a new vision and a new perspective.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father, I can only see things with blurry vision. It’s like looking through mist and fog. You are making it clearer to see what’s deeper inside me. Help me to see my deep hurts with more clarity. I surrender all the things I can’t see yet over to you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
