Restoration Song
He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:3

God isn’t finished with us yet. No matter how much time we have in recovery, God is still refining us. Our salvation is secure and now God is taking us through this process of sanctification we call recovery. We are being sifted like wheat and we are being refined like silver. The unnecessary elements are being stripped away. Slowly, over time, we are being transformed into the likeness of Christ.

Our recovery is a process. God could do the work for us to become like Christ in a single instant but God wants something more. God wants to grow and mature us. We are his craftsmanship. God is using everything to move us through this process. God is tuning us like a musical instrument. When we glorify Him, we are tuned to His perfect pitch.

In the rooms of recovery, we are His song of hope and grace. Our testimonies are the lyrics and our tears are the musical cords. God is listening to the symphony of praise that fills each of the rooms of miracles. God isn’t finished with His song in us. He is sifting out the notes that don’t belong and adding verses. We are God’s rhythm of grace singing His restoration song.
