We are seekers. We’ve spent precious time looking for happiness and fulfillment in a million different ways. We craved that experience of the first rush. We became emotion junkies and started worshiping our feelings. Our whole lives were spent in an endless cycle of searching, finding something that would make us feel better. Then, that something failed us and we went back to searching again.
It wasn’t until we found ourselves drowning in a whirlpool of despair that we turned to God. God was there the whole time. He was waiting for us to stop seeking the things of this world.
God was always with us. He wasn’t lost, waiting for us to find Him. We were the ones who were lost and He found us. God found us lost and alone. And now we seek, with all our hearts, only to be with Him.
